South Australia has long been recognised as one of the world’s great wine regions. This fertile region is the centre piece of our five-day tour.

In recent years this area has gained a great reputation for fine foods as well as it’s fine wines. Cyclists will be tempted by the excellent local produce, award winning restaurants and cafes, and in the Barossa, a long tradition of excellent German-style food. On our Gourmet Cycling Tour you will visit historic towns, National Trust properties and excellent craft galleries as we cycle through picturesque rolling countryside, and along parts of the famous “Riesling Trail”, a disused railway which is now a cycle track between wineries.

These five-days will be an unforgettable experience for all cyclists in Australia’s most famous and respected food and wine regions.

Experienced and novice cyclists alike will find the terrain to be moderately undulating and the countryside extraordinarily beautiful. Most roads on this tour are paved and there is a huge range of historic wineries producing world leading red and white wines. Throughout the tour cyclists will stay in 4 star accommodation.
