TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Deposit: The Adventure Collective requires a deposit of $500 to secure your place on any tours valued over $1000, tours up to $1000 will attract a 50% deposit. By making a deposit you are deemed to have accepted The Adventure Collective’s terms and conditions

Payment: Full payment is required 30 days prior to departure. Payment is by credit card, cheque made payable to ‘The Adventure Collective’ or bank transfer. Your position on the tour will only be held when funds clear.

There will be no refunds once the tour has commenced, therefore we strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident and baggage, as well as money and public liability.

Cancellations: Cancellation fee of $150 applies up to 90 days prior to departure. 90 days to 60 days prior will result in loss of 50% of deposit or $250 whichever is the greater amount. Within 60 to 30 days of departure, cancellation fee of 50% of full fare applies. Within 30 days of departure or no-show, cancellation fee of 75% of full fare applies and within 14 day 100% of full fare applies.

The Adventure Collective will allow you to transfer the amount paid to another tour if done so more than 30 days prior to departure and an administration fee of $100 AUD will apply.

Credit Card Surcharge: A 2% surcharge will apply to all payments made by credit card.

Late Fee: Should a booking be made with less than 30 days prior to departure a late fee of 5% may be charged.

Insurance: Private health and ambulance cover, personal accident insurance, etc are strongly recommended. Travel insurance to cover any unexpected need to withdraw is recommended.

The Adventure Collective has negotiated special insurance deals for club members and participants on its rides. Discounts of up to 10% are available on selected products including travel insurance. Try the Annual Travel policy for cover on all trips over a 12-month period. This offers a great saving for frequent travellers! Please check the website for further information.

Health: Participants should be in good health and physical condition.

Meals: Most meals will be included as part of The Adventure Collectives tours, however riders will be required to purchase some meals as advised by ride Fact Sheets and/or tour guide.

Luggage restrictions: For occupational safety and to avoid overloading, bag size must be limited to one duffle style bag per person plus tent and sleeping bag (should they be required) per person (bag size 800mm long x 400 high and 400 wide and not weighing more than 20kg). In addition to this a small daypack will also be allowed. All excess baggage will need to be forwarded on to final destination by passengers prior to departure at the passengers’ own expense.

Promotion and use of images: I consent to publication, for promotional purpose, of any photos or video footage taken of myself or others, while taking part in this tour. I also consent to the use of any statement made about the activity, again to be used in the promotion of The Adventure Collective or any of its products or brands
